eTail West 2017 Preview: Win at Data-Driven Marketing

Sunshine, palm trees, warm temps, and…no winter coats. Finally!

Coming from the chilly east coast in the middle of winter, it’s pretty easy to get me jazzed about the trip to Palm Springs to attend eTail West, being held Feb. 27 – March 1.

I’m looking forward to getting a healthy dose of Vitamin D to last me until spring, but I’m most excited to take part in discussions on e-commerce and data-driven retail marketing at the event.

eTail West is just a few weeks out, and we’re gearing up to talk about all things Google and Facebook, as well as hear insights from the 1,200 retailers in attendance. Interactive Roundtable

We’ll be hosting an interactive roundtable discussion with one of our customers, Patrick Holt, Manager of Paid Search from Crate & Barrel.

We’ll discuss best practices to succeed in the era of data-driven e-commerce marketing — including in one of the top data-driven marketing channels, Google Shopping. We’ll cover:

  • How to leverage data available in Google Shopping to make strategic campaign optimizations.
  • Where to access the most meaningful metrics based on your specific goals.
  • Why you need to look beyond last-click attribution to judge performance.

We’ll discuss best practices to succeed in the era of data-driven e-commerce marketing — including in one of the top data-driven marketing channels, Google Shopping.

Bring your burning questions on Google’s 2016 updates and how social commerce will impact retail this year.

Google released a slew of updates in 2016, including dropping text ads from the right rail and introducing Showcase Shopping ads. Social media platforms of all size and stripe are steadily releasing e-commerce features, meaning social commerce is likely to make an even greater impact on retail this year. We’ll be at the ready to answer your burning questions on these updates.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a proper event if we didn’t bring swag. Don’t forget to grab some of ours (the sunglasses are pretty cool, and they’ll come in very handy in the desert) while you’re with us.
